    Job Description

    Assist and manage the outlets operations and be responsible for financial results; develop, coach and train associates as they work side by side. You are responsible for the quality of customer service and beverages in their Outlets.

    Responsibilities

    Planning and Execution

    Developing strategic and operational plans for the work group, managing execution, and measuring results
    Monitors and manages Centennial Grounds staffing levels to ensure partner development and talent acquisition to achieve and maintain Centennial Grounds operational requirements.
    Utilizes existing tools to identify and prioritize communications and regularly uses discretion to filter communications to the Centennial Grounds team. Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective outlet operations.
    Demonstrates a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events and manages smooth transitions thereafter to keep Outlet operating to standard and to set a positive example for the Centennial Grounds team.
    Displays a "customer comes first" attitude by training and holding partners accountable for delivering legendary customer service.
    Developing action plans and directly motivating and instructing the Centennial Grounds team to implement them to meet operational and organizational objectives.
    Manages with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Peets.
    Plans, identifies, communicates, and delegates appropriate responsibilities and practices to associates to ensure smooth flow of operations.
    Provides coaching and direction to the Centennial Grounds team to act and to achieve operational goals. Constantly reviews Centennial Grounds environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement to provide coaching and direction to the Centennial Grounds team to achieve operational goals. 
    Business Requirements - Providing functional expertise and executing functional responsibilities:

    Ensures adherence to applicable wage and hour laws for nonexempt partners and minors.
    Solicits customer feedback to understand customer needs and the needs of the local community.
    Uses all operational tools to plan for and achieve operational excellence in the outlet. Tools include Automated Labor Scheduling, Monthly Status Report, Quarterly Business Review, cash management and inventory management.
    Uses discretion in accessing external resources to support Centennial Grounds operations and to execute district and regional initiatives. Resources include Partner Resources, Marketing, Partner & Asset Protection, Food & Beverage, Coffee, and Retail Implementation departments.
    Utilizes management information tools and analyzes financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in Centennial Grounds performance.
    Service

    Conduct Daily & Monthly Moments of Service Audits in accordance with directives.
    Monitor each guest experience, maintain visibility on the floor
    Training

    Build training materials and execute monthly training designed to empower our associates to drive sales
    Keep associates current on all training through ASC, as well as conduct monthly MOS Audits
    Products and Par Maintenance

    Maintain vendor relations and inventory levels through strategic ordering
    Organize and maintain storage par levels
    Monitor and maintain purchasing and dry goods inventory through BirchStreet
    Ensure Centennial Grounds is always set to specification and maintain all mandated product
    Ensure complete knowledge of all correlating Finance Audit policies and procedures and ensure compliance
    Payroll & Financial

    Prepare and submit daily/weekly payroll and tip distribution records
    Prepare weekly schedules in accordance with staffing guidelines and labor forecasts, adjust throughout the week to meet business levels
    Maintain payroll by collecting, calculating and entering data
    Adhere to monthly/90-day forecast and administer operations in a fiscally responsible manner
    General

    Practice Aggressive Hospitality.
    Assist in the interviewing process to ensure the hiring of culture driven associates
    Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills, & take initiate when dealing with guests and associates
    Share supervision of all Food &Beverage outlets and service staff.
    Be well versed in all activities throughout the hotel and surrounding venues.
    Improve Lounge profit and budget by implementing promotions, collateral, special events, etc.
    Thorough knowledge of Ecosure and State Health Regulations. Maintain a clean physical appearance and adhere to mood & ambiance requirements
    Be familiar with all local liquor laws as well all liability laws
    Must know emergency & safety procedures (active-shooter, fire, human trafficking)

    Qualifications

    Progressively responsible retail experience (3 years)
    Supervision (1 year)
    Experience analyzing financial reports
