    Job Description

    The assist in the overall operation of the culinary team in the respective outlet. Partnering with F&B management, this individual is responsible for creating schedules, executing orders, and ensuring a quality experience for hotel guests.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise the operations of all the outlets (Restaurant, Room Service,MiniBar,Lounges)
    • Ensure all stations and knowledge of menus required for proper services are ready
    • Open/close outlets according to hours of operation
    • Stations set-up and breakdown; supervised side duties being done
    • Must have full familiarity with menus of all the outlets
    • Must have full knowledge of beverages offered
    • Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws and certified T.I.P.S.
    • Greets and seats guests
    • Acts as server/DRA/Host as needed
    • Informing guests of daily specials
    • Must be able to function as cashier in any of the outlets
    • Service to the guests in the restaurant, lobby, bar and room service
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by restaurant manager/Director of Outlets
    • Must be proficient in Open Table, Synergy, Go Concierges, and Epitome
    • Must be able to handle all guests disputes
    • Must complete Moments of Service audits
    • Must be able to handle associate disputes and/or disciplinary action

    Qualifications

    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, to include: AM/PM, weekends, holidays
    • Ability to stand for extended periods of time (at least 8 hours/shift)
    • Ability to ensure efficient, effective operation of the food production outlet(s)
    • Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, short correspondence, and memos
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions
    • Ability to write and perform daily prep list and par sheets
    • Ability to meet Omni Hotels & Resorts qualify and performance standards
    • Ability to update and maintain inventory
    • Self motivated, and ability to work with limited supervision
    • Previous cash handling experience preferred
    • Must be TABC certified and must have Food Handler Certification
    • Must become WineQuest certified
