    Job Description

     

    The Assistant Front Office Manager ensures the maximum efficiency of the Front Office operation while working to increase guest satisfaction and associate development. 

    Responsibilities

    • Act as Manager on Duty during each shift.
    • Responsible for communicating with all department managers daily regarding room status and updates.
    • Communicate with the Night Audit team in the evening/morning for any pass on or follow up information.
    • Follow up and resolve guest concerns in a timely and appropriate manner. 
    • Be familiar with the hotel computer system, Opera, for training maintenance and troubleshooting.
    • Complete property specific reports and assign/block guest arrivals for the following day.
    • Prepare group information sheets and communicate to the Front Office team.
    • Complete check-out and credit check with balance report daily.
    • Adhere to all Systems & Controls of the Front Office and appropriate areas of responsibilities.
    • Work closely with the Loyalty Ambassador to ensure all  Select Guest members receive the appropriate service.
    • Oversee Guest Services team and monitor hotel vehicles to ensure they are up to company standards.

    Qualifications

    • Previous front office hotel experience is required. 4-Diamond hotel experience preferred. 
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Ability to stand for the entire scheduled shift; up to 8 hours.
    • Customer service oriented, ability to multi-task, detail orientation, and excellent organizational skills needed.
    • College degree or 2 years of Rooms Hotel management expereince preferred.
    • Knowledge of Property Management Systems and related computer programs. Opera experience preferred.
