    Job Description

    The In Room Dining Server should exceed our guests’ expectations by delivering quick, efficient, and professional Room Service.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of service time, menu and specials
    • Prepare, deliver and serve orders in accordance to Omni standardsand guest specifications.
    • Responsible for each check, ensure accuracy and payment. 
    • Adhere to cash handling standards.
    • Pick up trays and tables from guest floors.
    • Clear trays in accordance with Omni Standards.
    • Set-up, deliver and present all amenities in accordance with Omni Standards and guest specifications.
    • Responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of room service areas.
    • Consult with supervisor on any food pick up difficulty or guest issue
    • Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions
    • Complete other tasks and side duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Ability and willingness to work a variety of shifts including overnights, weekends and holidays is required.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English is required.
    • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs is required.
    • Ability to stand and walk for several hours at a time is required.
    • Previous customer service experience, preferably in an upscale setting is required.
    • Previous Food and Beverage serving experience is strongly preferred.
    • Previous experience working in a hotel is strongly preferred.

    Food Handler’s Card and TIPs (or equivalent) is required.
