    Job Description

    To handle all Administrative duties as required by the Catering/Convention Services Department.


    • Answer all incoming telephone calls.
    • Responds to telephone inquiries by determining client's needs and specifications for referral to the appropriate Manager.
    • Send all information, requested by Manager, to the client/lead.
    • Ensures that all filing systems are maintained.
    • Responsible for turning over definite Group contracts and distributing to other departments
    • Completing and/or distributing Banquet Event Orders and Group Resumes as needed. 
    • Maintain department inventory of office supplies.
    • Assist Managers with sales and coordination of groups as needed.
    • Create and print menus for groups as needed.
    • Create meal and valet vouchers for incoming groups.
    • Establishes rapport with clients and functions as Manager’s liaison.
    • Special projects as assigned by Department Manager.
    • Run monthly reports
    • Send out Planning Visit requests to hotel.
    • Create expense reports.
    • Setup requests with preferred vendors on behalf of managers and/or clients.
    • Prepare In House Banquet Event Orders as needed.
    • Handle Select Rewards fulfillment.
    • Setup welcome amenity requests and create welcome cards
