    Job Description

    To prepare all hot and cold menu items in accordance to recipes and Sous Chef’s instructions. To present all food items in accordance to pictures or Sous Chefs instructions. To provide our guests with the freshest food possible. To maintain high quality standards and procedures in preparing, and serving all food.


    • Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene; be ready to work and on time
    • Cooks must prepare all hot and cold foods in accordance to recipes and instructions from the Sous Chefs and/or Executive Sous Chef
    • Cook must work along with Sous Chef and Executive Chef to ensure quality meets specifications
    • Cook will ensure hot foods, main entree, starch and vegetables are of highest quality
    • Assist in controlling waste
    • Control quality and consistency of all food served
    • Ensure work station is set, with all necessary items, 15 minutes prior to service for line check
    • Required to learn all menu items that come from the restaurant kitchen: BOB’S, Bar and IRD
    • Timely fulfill guest requests for preparation of menu items and special requests
    • Must be proficient in proper food storage and sanitation of all food items
    • Smooth production of orders
    • Must prepare what is needed only, and not over produce items
    • Cooks must be dressed properly in Chef Coat and pants, slip resistant shoes and a toque or Omni hat
    • Directs proper sanitation of food items, kitchen facilities and equipment
    • Ensures that immediate work area/station is clean and in good working order
    • Follow proper safety guidelines
    • Complete flexibility and interchangeability of culinary duties and assignments within the work day and work week
    • Remain in the designated work area during shift


    • Adhere to all sanitation guidelines
    • Execute prep lists as assigned by Chef on duty
    • Execute daily temperature checks
    • Strict adherence to all recipe guidelines and presentation
    • Proper Rotation and storage of all food products for service
    • Make sure that all food and beverage products are stored properly, constantly checked for quality
    and along with the Executive Chef, ensure that all areas of the kitchen are kept clean and up to par

    • Performs all cooking related functions to include, but not limited to: preparation, cooking and storage
    of food
    • Before going home, make sure their work stations are cleaned and organized and that no food is
    left out
    • Maintain work station throughout service, clean, wipe down, and sanitize all work surface
