    Job Description

    Be a key part of the corporate technology team driving excellence for Omni Hotels & Resorts - a luxury hotel brand known for its award-winning service and vibrant culture. The Senior Manager, Hotel Technologies oversees the technology experience across the portfolio, ranging from technology implementations to continuing innovation and system development. This role ensures guests have an exceptional experience enhanced by technology, by seamlessly incorporating technology into the guest experience and driving technological enhancement strategies at the hotels while also addressing the operational and financial needs of the business.


    • Responsible for overseeing hotel technologies for the brand including but not limited to; HSIA, In Room Entertainment, Audio/Visual Systems, Digital Signage, Point of Sale, Electronic Door Locks, and Security Systems
    • Responsible for directly managing Hotel Technology team members by providing hands-on support, coaching and mentoring
    • Provides clear direction to achieve goals, creating an environment that fosters team commitment and employee engagement
    • Understands and maintains working knowledge of all property interface applications
    • Assists properties in all aspects of deploying technology in a production environment, including coordinating with third-party vendors for required go-live components.
    • Responsible for project and vendor management in conjunction with new systems and equipment
    • Maintains continuity of technology by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs that pertain to implementations.
    • Independently learn and keep pace with changes in user, system software and hardware requirements.
    • Develops and maintains documentation/procedures for the configuration and maintenance of hotel-based systems and other regular activities related to this job.
    • Partners with IT Project Manager on all Construction related projects to ensure compliance and standardization
    • Proactively assess and develop customized technology-based solutions for properties with a focus on business performance and maximizing the guest experience.
    • Ensure IT systems and controls are in place to comply with corporate policies and procedures in maintaining compliance and brand standards
    • Escalation resource for Tier Two ServiceDesk issues
    • Requires being on call and at times working off hours based on critical system outages, upgrades, etc.


    • Bachelor of Science Degree in related technology field or equivalent. Master’s Degree preferred
    • Minimum of five years managerial experience, preferably in hospitality
    • Minimum of seven years of Information Technology management experience preferred
    • Knowledge of hospitality systems is required
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft environment including Windows operating systems & office related products
    • Deep and best-in-class understanding of foundational IT networking, operating systems, application development and specific experience with implementing technologies.
    • Working knowledge of HSIA for Hospitality is a plus
    • Budget creation and management a plus
    • Advanced blueprint reading skills a plus
    • Individual must be able to take ownership of areas of responsibility and make recommendations and decisions on the improvement and operation of those areas.
    • Individual must be able to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment
    • Individual must interact extensively with all levels of Omni Hotels& Resorts management and is required to act in a professional and confidential manner.
    • Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of direct reports
    • Ability to partner and communicate well with internal and external business partners (hotels/vendors).
    • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
    • Problem solving skills and sound decision-making ability based on business needs
    • Strong administrative, organizational, project and time management skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines
    • Approximately 50% travel; sometimes with short notice
    • Valid passport is required.
