    Job Description

    Outreach to local/social groups and contracted hotel groups to present and orchestrate spa utilization for group participants. Develop group scheduling and pricing plan in coordination with Spa Leadership, scheduling appointments and tracking changes to ensure the guest experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide and tour site-inspections for potential groups.
    • Promote options for group experiences: treatment types, limited menus, activities, packages, luncheons and themes/decorations.
    • Develop best treatment and or package options for operational logistics – to include voucher and gift certificates when necessary.
    • Direct liaison between the group meeting planner, outside spa clients, and spa operations.
    • Responsible for detailing the finalized program resulting in signed contract.
    • Responsible for pre-blocking all spa appointments and appointment release dates.
    • Responsible for setting up accurate billing procedures and working with spa front desk and accounting to ensure billing/posting accuracy.
    • Respond and take ownership of all guest inquiries immediately.
    • Keep accurate records of guest correspondence
    • Demonstrate extensive familiarization with resort features, policies and procedures
    • Communicate efficiently and effectively with guests, members and associates
    • Good working relationships with co-workers
    • Work closely with spa leadership to ensure that all spa operations are considered: café, spa occupancy, necessary providers available – etc.
    • Assist front desk with check-in and billing process for groups.
    • Contribute to spa operations when necessary.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
    • 1-2 years’ experience in a Spa environment preferably at a large 4 diamond resort
    • Experience with handling cash
    • Experience in hospitality field
    • Flexibility with schedule as well as availability to work weekends
    • Good organizational skills and attention to detail. 
    • Some sales and group coordination experience preferred
