  • Job Description

    The Legal Assistant will provide administrative support to attorneys and other legal staff within the department.

    Responsibilities

    • Handle internal clients with an approachable and patient attitude; showing a passion for providing excellent customer service
    • Interact with operational teams and third parties in a professional manner consistent with TRT’s high standards
    • Communicate directly with internal and external stakeholders on multiple projects
    • Assist with travel arrangements
    • Assist with recurring meetings, including but not limited to room and AV set up, agenda compilation and minutes both on and off site
    • Assist with expense report assembly routing and tracking
    • Assist with assembly of PowerPoints and presentation materials as needed
    • Liaise with internal departments and property leadership
    • Calendar management
    • Assist with invoicing and rebills for department
    • Assembly of extensive trip files
    • Monthly reporting as needed
    • Composing memos and agendas
    • Update contact lists
    • Maintain extremely confidential documents
    • Field and distribute mail to legal department
    • Ad-hoc projects for the legal team
    • Process large volume typing assignments with acute attention to detail
    • Complete general administrative duties to include routine faxing, filing, correspondence and creating and maintaining an organized filing system

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in a Legal Assistant role supporting multiple attorneys
    • Must be highly organized and have the ability to multi-task
    • Must be extremely proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities
    • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
    • Flexibility and capability to take on special assignments/projects as directed by supervisor
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Professionalism is a must
    • Paralegal experience is a plus
