    Job Description

    This position is directed to entry level candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent to develop their management skills by training them in all aspects of the finance function. The person selected will spend a portion of their time working in other departments of the hotel. Prior hotel accounts receivable experience is preferred.


    • Responsible for learning and completing the job duties of the following positions: Accounts Receivable, Income Audit, Accounts Payable, General Cashier & Assistant Director of Finance.
    • Assist with hotel's credit and collection functions.
    • Assist with billing and customer service functions.
    • Establish sound credit policies and procedures and monitor adherence.
    • Increase communication with all involved parties in the credit process (Sales and Catering, Reservations, Front Desk).
    • Assist with monthly credit meetings.
    • Assist AR team with maintaining the billing control log sheet for all billings.
    • Ensure all payments posted to unapplied cash is resolved within 30 days of receipt.
    • Assist in the effective management of Accounts Receivables to minimize the risk of extending credit and to generate and establish a sufficient cash flow base.
    • Resolve all guest disputes and requests for clarification in a timely manner.


    • Previous Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
    • Must have a bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting and/or hospitality. 
    • Dynamic, enthusiastic, creative leader who thrives under pressure and is able to perform multiple functions and troubleshoot when needed. 
    • Ability to think clearly, quickly and make concise decisions with strong problem solving skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
    • Upon completion of the program display the required knowledge to complete all hourly accounting job duties.
