    Job Description

    The Recreation Supervisor would oversee the Recreation staff operating the Towel Hut, Cabana Rentals, Daily Activities, and Camp Omni.  A Supervisor is responsible for correcting any safety and maintenance issues by contacting the proper departments.  The Supervisor assists the Manager with all day to day operations as well as future programming.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for overseeing Pool Concierge Program
    • Assist with scheduling, payroll and financials
    • Making sure all recreational areas are operating efficiently (pools, towel hut and Camp Omni)
    • Responsible for cleaning the pool deck and surrounding areas
    • Ensuring all equipment is clean and in working order
    • Enforcing all pool rules
    • Assisting with internship program
    • Assisting with corporate teambuilding events and tournaments
    • Developing and creating new programs
    • Moments of Service training for the Omni Corporate Office
    • Overseeing the cabanas and taking care of the guests
    • Attending pre-cons, staff meetings and other meetings in the absence of the Manager
    • Previous supervisory experience preferred
    • Must be CPR & 1st Aid Certified
    • Knowledge of all resort area

    Qualifications

    • Ability to stand for long periods of time
    • Must be able to push and pull heavy towel racks and laundry bins
    • Must be able to move and arrange pool furniture and umbrellas
    • Responsible for overseeing safety of guests
    • Working in various weather conditions: hot, cold, rain, sun, etc
    • Properly administer first aid supplies, and be aware of safety procedures
    • Complete paperwork including, accounting, checklists, and inventories
