    Job Description

    To ensure paychecks are completed in a timely manner in accordance with Omni Hotels Standards and in compliance with all State and Federal Wage and Hourly Regulations.

    Responsibilities

    1. Fully responsible for all functions of the Kronos/Ultipro payroll process.
    2. Duplicate card report is issued to department heads on a daily basis.
    3. Responsible for handling all personnel information forms for the weekly Payroll.
    4. Process all pay adjustments for vacation, sick, personal days, holiday pay, and bereavement.
    5. Ensure all personnel information forms are verified with required signature (3) and entered into the computer (Kronos, Ultipro, YTD).
    6. All payroll reports are printed daily/weekly i.e. Productivity Report, Attendance Report, etc.
    7. Audit payroll on a weekly basis, i.e., Kronos hours with Ultipro transfer and with the payroll General Ledger distribution report.
    8. Researches discrepancies with the payroll.
    9. Ensure Time Audit with Detail Report is ran bi-weekly by each department.
    10. Files all related Payroll personnel information forms.
    11. Monitors yearly distribution of W-2.
    12. Administers all wage verifications and processes accordingly.
    13. Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
    14. Perform any other payroll-related functions directed by the Director of Finance.
    15. Be available to assist the corporate audit team and provide any/all requested payroll-related information.
    16. Responsible for addressing and correcting any areas found to be out of order by the Internal Audit Team, with the assistance of the Director of Finance.
    17. Responsible for monitoring and performing monthly areas highlighted under Payroll Verification section of the Internal Audit Checklist Report.

    Qualifications

    • At least one year of processing full cycle payroll is required.
    • Bachelors or Associates Degree in Accounting.
    • Must be proficient in Excel, Outlook and other general computer skills.
    • Experience with payroll applications such as Ultipro, Oracle, and Kronos is preferred.
    • Must have knowledge of California payroll laws.
    • Occasional Weekends may be required.
