    Job Description

    The Rooms Supervisor will oversee the daily operation of the Ideal Services department as well as perform as Front Office Supervisor as needed. The Rooms Supervisor creates a five-star welcome and departure experience and serves as an ambassador to our guests for all of their needs. 

    Responsibilities

    Oversee the day to day operation of the Ideal Service department

    Answer department telephone using correct greeting and telephone etiquette.

    Recruit, hire and train Ideal Serices Agents

    Maintain Omni's high standards of customer service and conduct

    Ability to resolve guest complaints in a helpful and professional manner. 

    Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Front Desk and by telephone.

    Ability to focus on guests' needs, remaining calm and courteous.
    Ability to think clearly, quickly and make concise decisions.
    Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up.
    Ability to work well under pressure dealing with many arrivals/departures within any given period of time.
    Ability to focus attention on details.
    Ability to maintain confidentiality of all guests and Hotel information.
    Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.
    Maintain complete knowledge at all times of all Hotel features/services, hours of operation.
    Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all Hotel and departmental policies and procedures.




    Qualifications

    • Demonstrated passion for the hotel and resort business
    • Previous hotel (or related industry) experience required
    • Excellent demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated initiative – must be a self starter
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities to include professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
    • Must be able to stand and walk 8 hours in a day
    • Must be able to communicate in the English language
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule
    • Must have strong computer skills
