Job Description

The Digital Communications & Content Coordinator facilitates all digital communications and content initiatives to drive both room and ancillary revenue, as well as, overall awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Audit and facilitate changes to content on the company’s websites for all resort outlets and activities via content management systems.
  • Monitor online brand reputation, as well as, post management responses for websites including TripAdvisor, Yelp, and more.
  • Maintain current information on third party websites.
  • Continually maintain social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
  • Collaborate and implement social media campaigns and promotions in conjunction with advertising and public relations.
  • Produce and monitor ongoing email marketing campaigns for a variety of resort business units.
  • Monitor, track and report on digital presence including websites, social media, and email programs.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in digital marketing and social media.
  • Develop content for all digital resort channels.
  • Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in strategic planning on an ongoing basis

Qualifications

  • Proficient knowledge and experience in digital content creation and management for social media sites, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Analytical experience with social media and Google analytics.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing experience (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and content writing skills.
  • Ability to work either exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions or interior of resort in normal office conditions.
