Job Description

Responsible for maintaining group blocks and ensuring that bookings and reservations are handled and processed efficiently.  Assist the Revenue Manager and Reservation Manager in managing during the absence of the managers. 


  • Input and maintain all group data for Group Sales Manager/Conference Services Managers. Input booking recap’s, rooming lists, changes, cancellations, maintain cut off dates, monitor group blocks, monitor group room types, set up billing/commissions, input special requests, review group resume, maintain group files.
  • Review group blocks for cut off date extensions and ensuring the blocks are set to cover pre and post the group requested date. Review all changes with DORM as it is assumed that groups not extended will not be offered the group rate to callers.
  • Run group arrivals lists daily for future arrival dates. Check for duplicate reservations, errors, and questions. Contact caller of reservation if necessary to verify information. Call all multiple reservations to assure accuracy and special requests. Add flag’s and flower pot specials to any reservations as necessary. Communicate any issues to OmniRez help desk supervisor.
  • Monitor room type availability daily. Re-block reservations with specific room requests as needed.
  • Monitor non-guaranteed reservations daily. Contact caller of reservation if needed. Cancel as reservation permits.
  • Create and maintain transient room blocks. Ensure all reservations have correct billing, and all other necessary information.
  • Monitor out of order rooms weekly. Release back into general inventory if possible.
  • Complete competition rate analysis as needed.
  • Take reservation calls from customers and OmniRez agents requesting on property assistance or any other calls pertaining to room reservations.
  • Monitor Internet bookings, availability and billing.
  • Assist in completing all VIP and internal reservations.
  • Assist in completing all fax and email reservations.
  • Research outstanding Travel Agent commissions for groups.
  • Research and charge appropriate no show billing.
  • Monitor TBA and multiple booking reservations, and remove from system if possible.
  • Enter advance deposits.


  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently to resolve customer inquiries or problems
  • Excellent phone etiquette skills
  • Intermediate experience working with basic computer programs (MS Office, Outlook, etc)
  • Must be able to become proficient on Omni Hotel’s reservation system
  • Prior Call Center experience a plus
