Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is looking for Customer Contact Center Representatives to take inbound reservation calls. The ideal candidate is friendly, patient, professional and genuine with a service driven attitude. In return, we provide a stable secure company, and family atmosphere with great benefits.

 

  • Base wage + incentive; $2.00 shift differential for hours worked after 5PM and on Saturdays/Sundays
  • Full–time positions; shifts available between the hours of 6:00AM-12:00 midnight 7 days a week
  • Paid training - day training class will be held in Omaha in January 2018

Responsibilities

  • Process reservations and use appropriate selling strategies and empowerment skills to maximize revenue for Omni Hotels & Resorts
  • Adjust and cancel reservations in the reservation system
  • Offer enrollment in the Select Guest program to guests according to call flow guidelines
  • Respond effectively to all inquiries
  • Display a pleasant, helpful and courteous attitude toward customers, fellow associates and management
  • Perform all operating functions of the telephone equipment and computer systems
  • Access appropriate hotel codes when determining availability and reservations confirmations
  • Utilize and show understanding in all current company policies and procedures necessary when making, changing or cancelling a reservation
  • Read all reference materials and information bulletins
  • Check mail folder, voicemail and emails on a daily basis
  • Utilize Help Desk for inquiries or suggestions that will assist the guest and improve the reservation process
  • Handle special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be available to work weekend shifts & holidays
  • Must be available to attend a day training class starting in January (Mon-Fri training 9AM-5PM)
  • Must be located in the Omaha area
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Ability to work independently to resolve customer inquiries or problems
  • Excellent phone etiquette skills
  • Above average attendance record
  • Intermediate experience working with basic computer programs (MS Office, Outlook, etc)
  • Must be able to become proficient on Omni Hotel’s reservation system
  • Prior call center experience a plus
