Job Description

The Fitness Desk Attendant will provide exceptional guest care through positive interaction and hospitality, and be able to operate efficiently in all fitness areas, and work well with others as a team.

Responsibilities

  •  Know and greet members by name.
  •  Registering member/guests by last name first, first name last and always get proper billing information, requests and gender preference.
  •  Maintain cleanliness of locker room and wet areas throughout am and pm shifts.
  •  Assist in keeping all Fitness/Tennis storage space clean and organized.
  •  Review communication log book at the start of each shift. Record information regarding member/guest issues, housekeeping, engineering, pools, hot tubs and steam rooms to shift supervisor/manager.
  •  Complete and initial all opening and closing checklist and turn into shift supervisor/manager.
  •  Know current hours of operation for the following areas: Fitness, Spa Salon, Kid's Club, Spa Shop, Coffee Market, Aquatics, Tennis and Pool Cabana.

Qualifications

  • 6 months experience and training in similar position in the hotel/resort/guest service industry.
  • Helpful to have some computer experience as well as MICROS experience.
  • Must have excellent phone skills.
  • The Associate is often required to stand, walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
