Job Description

The Barista is responsible to make and serve requested beverages or food items to all guests of Martha's Market, ensuring cleanliness of the outlet, additionally ensuring an adequate supply of plates, utensils, napkins and other supplies are available in guests areas of the café. In addition to making requested beverages, the barista is responsible to operate the POS system, ensuring all guests are charged appropriately for items purchased.


  • Previous experience working as a barista in a café setting (highly preferred)
  • Previous customer / guest service experience
  • Must be able and willing  to stand for 8-10 hours each shift
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, with shifts including weekends, holidays and evenings
  • Previous cash-handling experience (preferred)
