Job Description

Work as a team to ensure an excellent experience for the Bretton Woods guests by assisting with parking lot operations, ticket checking and ski area housekeeping.

Responsibilities

Parking Duties:

  • Monitor traffic flow in parking areas, provide direction and crowd control as needed.
  • Each day “set” up the parking areas with cones, signs and barricades as needed
  • Frequently assists guests with information regarding ski area and resort information.
  • Responsible for monitoring for instances of fraud, misuse and illegal selling of ticket/season pass products in parking areas. Will defer to supervisor in resolving such issues.

 

Ticket Checking Duties:

  • Scans daily ticket and season pass products using RTP computer system.
  • Monitors traffic flow in lift lines and provides direction and crowd control as needed.
  • Frequently assists guests in resolving queries regarding ski ticket and season passes including instances of fraud and misuse of ticket and season pass products. Will defer to supervisor in resolving such issues.
  • Responsible for signing out and returning ticket scanners at the beginning and end of every business day from the ticket office staff.

 

Ski  Area Housekeeping Duties:

  • Keep the base area and Base Lodge safe by performing general preparation work such as shoveling stairs and walkways, sanding and salting, moving firewood, vacuuming and trash removal.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining Base Area and Base Lodge overall cleanliness and safety.
  • Ensure that guests’ questions are answered by possessing a general knowledge of the ski area and by acting as a guest services representative.
  • Maintain certain standards i.e. clean tables, lockers and counters as well as general cleanliness of the Base Lodge windows, carpet, other equipment and furnishings. Clean stairs, decks, walkways, as well as general cleanliness of the base area and parking lots.
  • Ensure cleanliness according to the established standards of the Base Area at all times.
  • Cross train in other functions at the Base Lodge to assist during busy periods.

Qualifications

  • Must have exceptional communication skills.
  • Must be punctual and reliable.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
