Job Description

The Omni Mount Washington Resort is looking for someone who is willing to work 2 different part time positions, as a Loyalty Ambassador and Rooms Controller. This is considered a full time position and is eligible for benefits. 

Responsibilities

  • To be thoroughly acquainted with all check-in policies and procedures.

 

  • Ensure Select Guests and VIPS are assigned appropriately.

 

  • To be thoroughly acquainted with all check-out policies and procedures.

 

  • To be familiar with guest scenarios

 

  • To be familiar with all technical equipment related to the Front Desk.

 

  • Review group resumes and note information in Log Book on the appropriate day.

 

  • Review and clear all flags and mailboxes.

 

  • To be familiar with all hotel facilities.

 

  • Must have complete understanding of room type availability.

 

  • To be familiar with all hotel facilities.

 

  • Must have complete understanding of room type availability.

 

  • To be familiar with the inter-relationship between the different departments, especially Housekeeping and Room Service.

 

  • Understands and complete the Rooms Controller Checklist.

 

  • Ensure Duplicate Check is completed.

 

  • Must have full understanding of Select Guest Program

 

  • Must be able to train new Front Desk Associates

 

  • Manage all daily room changes

 

  • Understand the Reservations restrictions board.

 

  • Must be able to run desk in short staff situations

 

  • Must have complete understanding of blocking the house.

 

  •  To be thoroughly acquainted with all Select Guest member programs, promotions and benefits.

 

  • To ensure perfect delivery of all package elements, hand-written turndown cards and VIP amenities in conjunction with Housekeeping, Room service and FD.

 

  • To review and respond to Medallia comments from Select Guests.

 

  • To deliver unique requests and anticipate guest needs based on past alerts.

 

  • To serve as the Ambassador for the Front of the House

 

  • Be familiar with reservations, rooms control and basic room inventory.

 

  • To be thoroughly acquainted with all check-in procedures and policies.

 

  • To be thoroughly acquainted with all check-out procedures and policies.

 

  • Be familiar with guest scenarios.

 

  • Be familiar with all technical equipment as related to the Front Desk.

 

  • To be familiar with all hotel facilities.

 

  • To be familiar with general organization set-up.

 

  • To be familiar with the inter-relationship between the different departments.

 

Hotel Specific Essential Functions:

 

  • Complete the shift checklist
  • Exhibit familiarity with all of the food and beverage outlets on property
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the surrounding area

Qualifications

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
