Job Description:

Omni Hotels & Resorts is looking for Customer Contact Center Representatives to take inbound reservation calls. The ideal candidate is friendly, patient, professional and genuine with a service driven attitude. In return, we provide a stable secure company, and family atmosphere with great benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Take calls to assist guest needs with reservations including modifications and cancellations
  • Offering recommendations which will maximize revenue and guest stay satisfaction
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism when speaking with customers
  • Requires the ability to work in a high call-volume environment

Qualifications:

  • Must be available to attend on-site training in Dallas, TX for 3 weeks (9am - 4pm)
  • Next Training class starting in April; start date April 10, 2017
  • Home office location must be located within 50 miles of Dallas, TX
  • Primarily in need of day and early evening shifts to 9:00 pm
  • Must be available to work weekend shifts and some holidays (will participate in holiday bids)
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Ability to work independently to resolve customer inquiries or problems
  • Excellent phone etiquette skills
  • Intermediate experience working with basic computer programs (MS Office, Outlook, etc)
  • Must be able to become proficient on Omni Hotel’s reservation system
  • Must have a private work space preferably with a door that separates the work area from the rest of the house
  • Prior Call Center experience a plus

PC/Laptop Hardware and Operating System MINIMUM TECHNICAL Requirements to Work from Home:

  • Windows 7 or Window 8.0 or above
  • Dual Core CPU
  • 4GB Ram
  • 50GB Hard Drive free disk
  • 1 NIC (Ethernet)
  • USB Connection
  • Up to date anti-virus software
  • Power Surge Protector
  • Logitech USB Headset Mono H650e (can be purchased on amazon)

Other Items Needed:

 

¨  Internet: 25mb or greater download speed and 7mb or greater upload speed

¨  Copy of Internet Service Provider bill documenting internet speed

¨  Ergonomically approved desk chair and desk work surface

¨  Smoke Detector

¨  Fire extinguisher 2.5lbs or more

¨  First Aid Kit

¨  Daily administrative tools such as pens, scratch paper, tissues, etc.

¨  Photos of work station showing proximity to internet connectivity (must be in the same room)

¨  Copy of Declarations page of Homeowner’s/Renter’s Insurance

 

*Will be asked to provide pictures of the above requirements upon offer of employment.

*A Wireless Connection is NOT allowed for our Work at Home Associates.

*No one else can be on / using your internet during your scheduled shift.

*No devices can be connected to your internet during your scheduled shift.
