Job Description

To provide assistance and services for guests, as well as the hotel, in order to ensure pleasurable accommodations and stay.

Responsibilities

  • Assist, retrieve and load luggage for guests
  • Park and retrieve guest's vehicles when requested
  • Transport guests to and from hotel utilizing hotel shuttle
  • Be fully acquainted with the different points of interest, restaurants, and entertainment areas
  • Assist in making reservations for restaurant and limousines for guests
  • Assist in airline ticket requests and printing boarding passes
  • Ensure the delivery of parcels, mail and special deliveries to guestrooms, executive office or meeting rooms
  • Ensure that the public areas and bell closet/bell stand are maintained, clean and tidy
  • Follow-up with guest complaints to ensure that any problems are resolved
  • Arrange special requests for guests including and not limited to flowers, rental cars, forwarding luggage, sight-seeing tours, advising of different quality local shopping areas, and restaurant reservations
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Must posses a passion for service
  • Excellent customer services skills required
  • Must have strong communication, presentation, training and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to speak fluent English
  • Must have valid Texas Drivers License with clean driving record
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass drug screen
  • Must be able to push/pull/lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
  • Must be able to bend, squat, and twist regularly to assist guest with luggage and packages
  • Must be able to stand/walk 8+ hours per day
  • Must live within 50 miles of hotel
