To ensure all the equipment and food requirements for the function(s) is available to the waiters at the appropriate time.

• Prepare for functions on shift.
• Set up Breakdown Stations.
• Assist with Plate up.
• Implement after meal breakdown.
• Set-up back bars with glasses, run glasses, ice, and mixer to bars during functions.
• Keep bars stock with all required items for function, while keeping accurate counts for function
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of the back-of-the-house in accordance with the Department of Health.
• All other duties as required

Qualifications:

• One+ years experience as Food Service Attendant/Banquet Server in a upscale hotel or free standing restaurant operation.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of quality food service techniques and standards.
• Certification of TIPs requirements.
• Ability to stand stoop and bend repetitively during entire shift
• Ability to speak, read and understand the English language.
• Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Walk over 2/3 of the time

• Sitting under 1/3 of the time

• Reach with hands and arms over 2/3 of the time

• Ability to lift and carry food service trays weighting 30+ pounds

• Ability to push carts and queen marry weighting 50+pounds

Working Environment:

• Outdoor weather conditions including humidity, rain, wind and sun exposure

• Ability to work under fast paced and time sensitive banquet event orders.

• Wet or humid conditions (non-weather) for 1/3 of the time.

• Working in fluctuating outdoor temperature. 

• Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
