Job Description

The Associate Services Cooridnator assists the ASC management team of all functions of the Human Resources department, including recruiting, onboarding, training, benefits management, employee relations, and compliance, in accordance with Omni standards.

Rate per hour starts at $30.70 per hour and increases to $31.33 per hour after 90 days of service. 

Responsibilities

 

  • Assists ASC management team with on-boarding of new associates according to Omni standards
  • Assists ASC management team withall Omni Benefits programs according to standards..
  • Assists ASC management team with employee terminations, hires, promtions, transfers, status updates according to Omni standards
  • Maintain all Associate Service Center Standard Operating Procedures
  • Assists ASC management team with Internal Audit requirements.
  • Assists ASC management team to ensure the department meets the standards of the HR Assessment intrnal audit
  • Assist with the implementation the Hotel's Associate Engagement survey and assists the hotel in creating substantial action plans that move the Hotel forward.
  • Assists ASC management team with Omni and hotel specific Training Programs and track successful completion though Omniversity LMS platform
  • Ensure the associate files are maintained in a neat and organized manner.
  • Plan and execute exciting, fun, reative and interesting associate events on a monthy and quarterly basis
  • Assists ASC management team with the Omni’s recognition programs. Ensure the Omni Service Champion culture is celebrated. Utilizing Actiontrak
  •  Develop a consistent and lively associate communications network within the hotel, via bulletin boards (electronic or otherwise), department communication boards, posters and flyers.
  •  Responsible for clear and accurate documentation of all associate issues, on a timely basis following counseling and disciplinary procedures. Ensure legal liability of the company is protected at all times.
  • Monitor departmental expense in compliance with check-book accounting process. Work closely to ensure associate relations and recruitment/advertising expenses are in line with monthly budget.
  • Fulfill reasonable requests of management as directed by DHR, GM or Hotel Manager
  • Conduct exit interviews for all terminating associates and ensure final clearance and pay check distribution. 
  • Assistants ASC management team with Service Scorecard initititives and completion
  • Attend and coordinate commuiniy service events and career fairs 
  • Perform Other duties as required by management 

Qualifications

  • Previous hotel Human Resources experience is strongly preferred. Previous luxury service oriented envrironment experience preferred
  • Highly developed customer service skills; possessing a friendly approachable demeanor and strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and organization.
  • Ability to pleasantly communicate verbally and in writing in English with guests, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone. Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems. Ability to compute accurate mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to work well under pressure. Must be able to multi-task and make appropriate decisions in difficult situations
  • Must be able to walk, sit, stand, squat, and lean during daily business for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to learn and use multiple HR systems
  • Ability to speak and communicate in a second language preferred.
  • Experience working with labor unions preferred
