Responsible for the Room Service daily and monthly inventory, schedules, products ordering, and maintain the department clean and organized.
• Ensure optimal performance in the day-to-day operation.
• Assist Room Service manager in training of the staff.
• Complete daily moments of service on team, IRD and Lobby Bar.
• Call back all guest orders to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure all amenities are delivered and charged correctly.
• Check the servers’ orders and set-up.
• Control order load of the servers.
• Check on tray and table removal.
• Establish and maintain cohesive and effective associate relations.
• Maintain guest contact.
• Inspect daily set-up, and presentation.
• Ensure all daily opening and closing side work is complete.
• Conduct administrative work requirements.
• Performs related duties special projects.
• Provides functional assistance and directions to the room service operation.
• Assist lobby bar bartender when needed.
• Check lobby and lobby bar to ensure cleanliness.
• Deal with guest issues and ensure customers satisfaction.
• Assist with evening restaurant event orders in Kitchen Notes.
• Two years prior experience in a similar position preferred.
• Very organized and able to walk long distances
• Must be TABC certified.
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance. Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion. May work both indoors and outdoors.
• Desktop computer (Opera, Synergy, Microsoft Office, Kronos, Birchstreet, Micros terminals), printer, telephone, copier, fax machine and push to talk radio dispatch.
