Job Description

 Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking Beverage Cart Supervisor for the beautiful Barton Creek Country Club!

Responsible for supervising day-to-day operations of the Beverage Cart Department, ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance with standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervises employees in the Beverage Cart Department.
  • Inform team of daily events and communicate daily golf play/updates during pre-shift meetings.
  • Assist with conducting monthly department meetings with staff.
  • Report and follow up on all cart maintenance and repairs.
  • Attend weekly coordination and Food and Beverage meetings to ensure proper staffing levels and special event requirements.
  • Verifies daily product par and usage sheets.
  • Orders products and equipment from beverage dept. and purchasing dept. in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for monthly inventory of all products.
  • Operates service in accordance with TABC requirements and health code standards.
  • Ensure the safe operation of the Beverage Carts and Halfway House at all times.
  • Ensures proper safety standards on vehicles and conducting weekly maintenance checks.
  • Responsible for security of cash bank/ keys and cart storeroom of all Beverage Cart personnel.
  • Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of beverage cart barn.
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Must participate in any other training programs as required by the company.
  • Champion the ALL IN/Omni culture.

Qualifications

  • Ability to compute basic arithmetic, specifically in cash handling situations.
  • Prior knowledge and experience of beverage service and alcoholic drinks is required. Prior supervisory experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Must maintain current TABC and Food Handlers certifications.
  • Customer service orientated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, outgoing personality, and ability to work under stress in a fast paced environment. 
  • Flexibility in hours, including willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and teamwork skills
