Job Description

Omni Hilton Head is seeking a PBX Operator to be the welcoming voice of the resort—promptly and warmly answering calls, connecting guests and associates to the right departments, and ensuring all communication needs are met with professionalism, efficiency, and care in line with our Omni Standards.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Professionally answer and operate the PBX console.

  • Promptly direct incoming calls to the appropriate team members or departments.

  • Provide courteous assistance to all guests and associates.

  • Respond to inquiries through the Omni Prompt Response Help Line.

  • Schedule and deliver accurate wake-up calls.

Tools & Equipment:

  • Telephone and console

  • Computer and keyboard

  • Pen/pencil, file folders, filing cabinet

  • Photocopier, printer, and fax machine

Working Environment:

  • Indoor office environment within the hotel, operating under normal office conditions.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English required.

  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.

  • Strong communication and active listening skills.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable using telephones, computers, and related office equipment.

  • Professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and associates.

  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
