Job Description

The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences across Monte’s Bar, the Breakfast Room, and In-Room Dining. This position supports day-to-day operations, provides leadership and coaching to the service team, and ensures that all food and beverage offerings are executed in alignment with Omni’s service and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight:

Lead and support service staff during assigned shifts to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service. Monitor service flow and staffing levels in all outlets.

  • Team Leadership & Development:

Conduct pre-shift meetings, assist with onboarding and ongoing training, and provide in-the-moment coaching to ensure high performance and adherence to standards.

  • Guest Engagement & Service Recovery:

Actively engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and provide personalized service that enhances the overall experience.

  • Quality Control & Presentation:

Maintain consistent food and beverage presentation and ensure compliance with brand, health, and safety standards. Partner with culinary and bar teams for smooth coordination.

  • Inventory & Bar Controls:

Monitor daily beverage par levels, track supply usage, and submit requisitions. Maintain accountability for liquor control, waste, and proper product rotation.

  • Administrative Support:

Assist with weekly scheduling, timecard review, payroll submission, monthly revenue and labor forecasting, daily tip reporting for F&B outlets, creating and receiving purchase orders, monthly beverage inventory.

  • Banquets and Events

 

Assist the Senior Food and Beverage Manager in providing support for the banquets team by overseeing banquet events, attending BEO meeting, closing banquet checks, preparing banquet bid, and Bi-weekly banquet tip distribution.

 

  • Facility Maintenance:

Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all service areas. Submit and follow up on maintenance requests to ensure timely resolution.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration:

Work closely with culinary, housekeeping, engineering, and front office teams to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Previous food and beverage supervisory or management experience required
  • Basic wine and beverage knowledge preferred
  • Experience in a unionized work environment is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of MICROS POS or similar systems is highly preferred
  • Must be flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer service abilities
  • Understanding of liquor liability laws and emergency procedures
  • TIPS/RBS certification and California Food Handler’s card required before start date

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including full shifts
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry moderate weight without assistance
  • Capable of working in a physically active and fast-paced environment

Working Environment

  • Work primarily takes place indoors within the restaurant, bar, and kitchen areas
  • Occasional movement throughout resort property as required
  • Regular exposure to cleaning chemicals, food and beverage products, and kitchen equipment

      Pay Rate: $36.50/hour
