Job Description
Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking an Golf Equipment Technician to join our team. Omni Frisco PGA Resort will provide north Texas with 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 new food and beverage outlets, an extravagant spa and a full entertainment district. Featuring two championship 18-hole golf courses along with a third short course, we will provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining, events, and entertainment.
The Golf Equipment Technician will oversees all aspects of the equipment fleet and maintenance facility.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Repair of failing equipment, keeping records of parts and labor needed to maintain each piece of equipment.
- Properly communicates any needs or problems relating to equipment needs with the Equipment Manager.
- Places safety as a top priority and is responsible for maintaining a clean service area and maintenance building.
- Prioritizes equipment repair and maintenance work.
- Spot checks equipment for performance on the course, frequently makes emergency repairs to equipment on the course, and services or supervises servicing of equipment prior to use.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Occasional equipment operation will be required to fully assess issues and provide accurate set up and operation.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Two year certificate from a college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Re-education through company provided service schools is an ongoing program. Personal education a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. The ability to write routine reports and correspondence. The ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
The ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, size. The ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics as required by the position and profession.
