Job Description

Responsible for promptly fulfilling guest requests and assisting Housekeeping Supervisors by delivering necessary items to guest floors in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

 

  • Check in with the Housekeeping Office and PBX at the start of the shift.

  • Follow up on any outstanding or pending guest service requests.

  • Complete all guest deliveries within 10 minutes of the request.

  • Ensure all guest items are delivered on a tray for presentation and cleanliness.

  • Communicate with Laundry regarding the availability of linens, blankets, and bedspreads.

  • Maintain inventory of cribs, refrigerators, microwaves, and rollaway beds.

  • Pick up and deliver guest dry cleaning as needed.

  • Ensure all storage closets and service areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained.

  • Use earpiece with radio to maintain professional and discreet communication.

  • Keep the 15th-floor landing clean, neat, and organized at all times.

  • Complete other duties as assigned by Housekeeping leadership.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of dry cleaning services available to guests.

  • Stay informed about hotel facilities, amenities, and ongoing events.

  • Promote and maintain a safe and secure environment for all guests and associates.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a guest service-related role preferred

  • Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Dependable and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull items up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods

  • Comfortable using a two-way radio and earpiece for communication

  • Familiarity with hotel services, layouts, and guest room amenities is a plus

  • Basic understanding of safety procedures and guest privacy protocols

  • Positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service to guests and team members
