Job Description

The Associate Services  Coordinator assists with the ASC management team of all functions of the Human Resources department, including recruiting, onboarding, training, benefits management, employee relations, and compliancet, in accordance with Omni standards.

Responsibilities

 

  • Assists the HRD and HR Manager with on-boarding of new associates is implemented according to Omni standards
  • Assists the HRD and HR Manager withall Omni Benefits programs are implemented according to standards..
  • Assists the HRD and HR Manager with employee terminations, hires, promtions, transfers, status updates  are implemented according to Omni standards
  • Maintain all Associate Service Center Standard Operating Procedures
  • Assists the HRD and HR Manager with Internal Audit requirements.
  • Assists the HRD and HR Manager with to ensure the department meets the standards of the HR Assessment.
  • assist with the implementation the Hotel's associate fesociate Engagement survey and assist the hotel in creating substantial action plans that move the Hotel forward.
  • Assists the HRD and HR Manager with Omni and hotel specific Training Programs and track successful completion.
  • Ensure the associate files are maintained in a neat and organized manner.
  • Plan and execute exciting, fun and interesting associate events , monthky and quarterly.
  • Assists the HRD and HR Manager with the Omni’s recognition programs. Ensure the Omni Service Champion culture is celebrated.
  •  Develop a consistent and lively associate communications network within the hotel, via bulletin boards (electronic or otherwise), department communication boards, posters and flyers.
  •  Responsible for clear and accurate documentation of all associate issues, on a timely basis following counseling and disciplinary procedures. Ensure legal liability of the company is protected at all times.
  • Monitor departmental expense in compliance with check-book accounting process. Work closely to ensure associate relations and recruitment/advertising expenses are in line with monthly budget.
  • Fulfill reasonable requests of management as directed by DHR, GM or Hotel Manager
  • Conduct exit interviews for all terminating associates and ensure final clearance and pay check distribution. 

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal required
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Previous experience in a customer service position preferred 
  • Willingness to learn and take on different projects
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorties, answer phone and respond to emails
  • Must be able to walk, sit, stand, squat, and lean during daily business for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to learn and use multiple HR systems

Desirable:


1. Ability to communicate in a second language

 

2. Experience working with labor unions.
