The Golf Tournament Coordinator will assist the Golf shop manager and the Head Golf Professional with all activities relating to the execution of the properties golf operations, including but not limited to Member tournaments, Resort and outside events, golf shop and point of sale operations, financial management, human resource management and maintenance of golf equipment.The Golf Tournament Coordinator is responsible for coordination and management of all golf events of 12 or more players. They will make the initial, intermediate and final calls with the client to plan the event. The coordinator is also responsible for organizing the tournament format, rental club needs, contests and prizes. They will also assist management with staffing levels and requirements for events. They might also be asked to perform duties outside of Tournament Coordination.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
