Job Description

The Golf Course Maintenance Administrator will be responsible for the administrative, accounting, and basic payroll functions of the golf maintenance team. 

Responsibilities

 

  • Supervise accounts payable and perform functions when necessary. Understand coding and its relationship to budget.
  • Supervise purchasing by others in the department as well as carry out purchasing activities.  Get authorization prior to purchasing large items.
  • Maintain filing systems. Streamline and update. Assist with Group BEO/Resume review and monitor for special needs from Golf Course Maintenance department.
  • Assist with reconciliation of fuel distribution.
  • Assist with schedule input and attendance tracking. Make adjustments on time sheets as directed.
  • Typing forms and correspondence.
  • Liaison between Agronomy team and other departments as needed.
  • Be point of contact for landscaping/tree work needs on the golf courses. Maintain work log and assist with dispatching jobs. Handle all guest calls and/or guests, if necessary, especially in absence of Director of Agronomy.
  • Coordinate and troubleshoot. 
  • Assist with scheduling and any other special projects as needed.  Research information when necessary.
  • Process Human Resources paperwork.
  • Knowledge of pertinent golf course maintenance systems and software.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in hotel or hospitality and/or construction/engineering preferred.
  • Previous experience to include some accounting or administration background preferred.
  • Knowledge of word processing, databases and spreadsheets required.
  • Must be detail oriented, self motivated and have excellent organizational skills.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay Rate: $22-$23/hr, based on experience.
