Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced PM Bartender for the beautiful Interlocken Hotel & Spa.

Exciting transformations are underway! We are rebranding and opening newly renovated restaurant outlets at Interlocken. Join our team as we launch our new concept restaurant and Bar, Shep's.

Shep's is a beer forward gastropub and is the hotel's primary restaurant outlet. Shep's will open on December 11th and training begins December 2nd!

Omni Interlocken Hotel & Spa is seeking a PM Bartender for the Shep's to join our outstanding food & beverage team! This vital role will work closely with the Director of Outlets and Food & Beverage Leaders to ensure successful execution of all operations relating to the Food and Beverage restaurant outlets, resulting in high levels of guest satisfaction. This highly motivated individual will be responsible for providing efficient friendly customer service at all times. This position will serve cocktails, beer and wine while creating memorable experiences for all guests enjoying the hotel Food & Beverage experience. Part Time and Full Time positions available.

We are looking for motivated and energetic individuals who love contributing to a winning team. If you have bartending experience in a hotel or high-volume restaurant environment, we would love to speak with you about this role.

Salary for this position starts at: $11.40/hour plus gratuities. Training pay for pre-opening is $25/hour. Omni Interlocken Hotel reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race. • Maintain full knowledge of cocktail beverage offerings.
• Monitor and maintain bar cleanliness, sanitation and organization of bar area.
• Maintain stock levels.
• Proper setup and breakdown of area and service station.
• Clean and resetting of bar area as guests depart or preparation of drink is completed.
• Proper bar setup and break down.
• Triple sink procedures.
• Keep working area neat and clean.
• Multi-task several drink orders and duties at once, maintaining the highest levels of service.
• Communicate with management, kitchen staff, and serving staff professionally at all times.
• Contributes to a professional workplace that maximized employee moral, productivity and effectiveness. Works well with a diverse Front of House and Back of House staff.
• Ensures responsible service of alcohol by following all legal requirements including carding and consumption.
• Accurately takes food and beverage orders from guests and promptly records all transactions in Micros system.  Maintains guest tabs and processes payment promptly.
• Monitors pars.
• Must have knowledge of wine, spirits and beer.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced team environment.

• Minimum 1-2 years bartending experience, high volume & casual environment preferred.
• Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be familiar with a service bar atmosphere.
• Must have wine, beer and spirits knowledge.
• Must have an unexpired TIPs Alcohol and ServSafe Food Handler certification.
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift, carry, place items up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Must be 21yrs+ 
• Ability to work in an high paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor at all time.
