Job Description

No Job Description for a position can possibly include all duties which may be requested by guests or required by the hotel.  The objective of all positions is to effectively provide the services personally, or to immediately refer requests to the appropriate department manager.  The following is a summary of the major responsibilities of the position.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

 

  • Know and share information about the resort and its activities.
  • Assist guests with all needs that may arise in relation to their use of the ski area.
  • Maintain Omni standards for cleanliness and general appearance of the Ski Area.
  • Complete all points of sale with Guests and Members.
    • Ski Lift Ticket Sales
    • Rental Equipment Sales
    • Tubing Ticket Sales
    • Season Pass Ticket Sales
  • Knowledge on daily Ski Operations
    • Prices on lift tickets, rentals, tubing & lessons.
    • Booking procedure on ski/snowboard lessons & Tubing.
  • Perform all closing procedures at the end of each shift.
  • Printing daily reports
  • Answering phones
  • Coordinate lessons for ski school

Tools and Equipment:

 

  • Computer, Copy Machine, Telephone, Cash Drawer

 

Working Environment:

 

  • Interior Lower Level of Mountain Lodge

 

Qualifications

  • Comfortable in guest facing environment
  • Computer Literate
  • Proper phone etiquette
  • Proper cash handling procedures
  • Works well with others
