Job Description

The main objective of the Banquet Server is to ensure that all food and beverage service for functions in the banquet department of the convention center are served on time and is presented neatly.


  • Assist Banquet Supervisor, Banquet Manager, and Assistant Banquet Manager/Director in the complete operation of the Banquet Department
  • Ensures appropriate setup of functions, including opening and closing duties
  • Responsible for adhering to all Omni and Trinity F&B Services policies and procedures
  • Maintain all equipment to ensure proper function and cleanliness
  • Assist with banquet setup and breakdown procedures
  • Efficiently and properly perform all service standards
  • Attend to all needs of the guests during functions and function related duties
  • Maintain an awareness of all functions, events and meetings taking place at any given time
  • Must attend all designated pre-meal meetings
  • Report to Banquet Supervisor any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of banquet equipment
  • Maintain and review all mandatory licenses and certifications in regards to banquet department while adhering to all liquor liability laws. (ie. TABC and Food Handlers Certifications)
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management
