Come and join our team at this  605-room convention center hotel in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City.  Our luxury hotel is located next to the Paycom Center(OKC Thunder),  the Oklahoma Convention Center and across the street from the 70-acre Scissortail Park.

 

The property  includes an all-day dining outlet (Seltzer's Modern Diner), an entertainment sports bar (OKC Tap House), specialty restaurant (Bob's Steak & Chop House), coffee shop (Park Grounds) and a retail outlet (RareBird Gift Shop). Additionally, guests can enjoy a Mokara Spa, fitness center and a rooftop pool and bar (CatBird Seat) complete with a fire pit, outdoor lawn and cabanas. The hotel offers 76,000 square feet of meeting and event space inclusive of a 20,000 square foot ballroom, 10,000 square foot ballroom, and a 4,200 square foot outdoor pre-function space that overlooks the park.

Job Description

To assist the Spa Director with the daily overall operation of the Spa. Scheduling spa appointments and maximizing spa service opportunities.  Communicating spa promotions with guests and associates, up-sell, and provide tours of the spa. Responsible for training and supporting associates.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, demonstrating an exceptional level of professionalism for Staff to emulate. Create a motivating environment, reflecting positivity, recognition and daily support.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all Spa, Salon and Fitness offerings: services, product knowledge, packages, daily class schedules and programs
  • Provide training for Associates. Create, maintain and enhance training initiatives for the team.
  • Check guests in and out according to Omni Standards
  • Resolve guest and associate concerns through empowerment and optimal resolutions.  
  • Schedule spa appointments and accurately confirm them in accordance with Omni Hotel & Resorts Moments of Service.
  • Up-sell, cross-sell, and pre-sell services and products.
  • Provide tours of the spa and offer/serve beverages as needed.
  • Communicate spa promotions with guests.
  • Greets guests & members, providing information and directions as necessary.
  • Ensure that guests are properly checked in and out of lockers as necessary.
  • Instructs guests where they may change and/or dress for Spa treatments and experiences.
  • Maintain locker room in sanitary and safe condition to include shower areas, and vanities.
  • Maintain all guest lounge and deck areas in neat and sanitary condition.
  • Maintain Spa spaces in a fashion that ensures neat, safe and sanitary conditions.
  • Participates in backbar and retail inventory as directed.
  • Conducts tours of the spa and related facilities.
  • Must maintain client and spa business confidentiality/privacy at all times.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up all responsibilities
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Previous cashiering experience is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Candidate must possess excellent guest service skills and will be responsible for ensuring a quality guest experience in the Spa.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
