Job Description

Provides administrative assistance to the Operations team of the hotel. 

Responsibilities

 

Expediting food orders (When necessary)

Seating guests, and touching tables in the restaurant (When Necessary)

Handle restaurant reservations requests

VIP reservations, preparations for both the restaurant and guest rooms

Managing Guest Relations communications and Guest correspondence

Assist all three departments with Call Around procedures to replace associate call outs

Assist front office operations as needed

Walk Guest rooms and help housekeeping close out the evening shift (when needed)

Assist in pulling the requisition for the bar on a nightly basis

Assist with monthly inventory counts

Assist with Overnight coverage as needed.
Assist in maintaining accurate time edits and communicate daily discrepancies.

Position pays $28.84 - 31.25 per hour

Qualifications

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must have significant mobility of arms and hands. Must be able to bend, squat and push, pull and lift up to 25-30 pounds. Must be able to see, hear and communicate verbally in writing.
  • 2-3 years experience with computers and various computer programs.
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Individual must be a good listener, effective communicator and detail oriented.
  • Individual will be expected to meet deadlines, work with little supervision and be flexible to handle interruptions.
  • Individual must be literate, have extensive verbal, mathematical and writing skills.
  • Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished, oral or diagrammatic form.
  • Must have strong, positive guest and employee relation skills.
  • Must be flexible with schedule.
