To handle all payment transactions for all foods and/or beverages/ or products purchased in The Virginia Wine Experience venue.

Essential Functions: 

• Cashiers should familiarize themselves with daily happenings and inventory.
• Receives all checks from the guest and processes them to the proper payment method.
• Post all checks into the computer using the correct check number for reference as well as check control purposes.
• Balance work with computer
• Assists in answering phones for The Virginia Wine Experience as needed
• Provides amazing customer service from the moment the guest enters The Virgina Wine Expereince
• And any other reasonable duty assigned by management or supervisor

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Experience as a cashier is desirable.
• Customer service experience desirable.
• Ability to handle a high volume of transactions.
• Polite and courteous.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic wine knowledge preferred, associate will be trained on Virginia Wine offerings.
