Job Description

To service and maintain all Racquet Park areas including tennis courts and pickleball in accordance with Omni Standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 23 Tennis Courts and 7 Pickleball Courts
• Daily maintenance of all tennis and pickleball courts including but not limited to sweeping, lining, debris removal, laying clay, rolling clay, and other basic court maintenance needs
• Daily maintenance of all other areas in Racquet Park including but not limited to emptying trash cans, pressure washing, painting, sweeping, Tennie-Two-Steps, and other assigned tasks
• Responsible for annual reconditioning of courts
• Maintaining a positive and effective operation and engaging with each member on a personal basis.
• Understand different court conditions with respect to weather and maintenance needs; communicate with the guests/members, Cliff Drysdale, and Front Desk
• Keep tennis equipment in good condition and in proper working order
• Keep Supervisor appraised of re-ordering needs and equipment issues
• Re-stock towels as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of locker-rooms, fitness center, tennis pro-shop, and pool deck area.
• Maintain inventory of court maintenance supplies.
• Daily use of time clock.
• Work with other staff to maintain a working schedule.
• Work holidays and events and special programs as scheduled.
• Proper handling of keys with access to Health and Fitness Center, Tennis Pro Sho, and court maintenance areas

 

Hotel Specific Functions:

 

• Maintain standards of guest services and consistent positive guest experience as documented by J.D. Power and AAA Ratings
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotels culture, rules, and regulations.
• Answer phones using the proper "Moments of Service" scenario.
• Provide guests with cheerful, personable, efficient service.
• Responsible for a clean and professional appearance of uniforms
• Fully understand and implement "Moments of Service" and “Power of Engagement.”
• Interact with every guest using Omni Standards
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni’s Fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuation
• Knowledgeable about all hotel amenities and property specifics
• Actively participate in the assurance of the safety of all guests
• Treat everyone, supervisors, staff and guests with courtesy and respect always

Qualifications

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and walk long distances.

Willing to work early morning and evenings shifts.

Willing to work outdoors regardless of weather conditions.

Must have good customer service skills.

Must have ability to multi task.

Must have excellent communications skills.
