To provide a unique experience by offering bike rentals, Island Hoppers, and Segway Tours
• Work in Amelia's Wheels by providing guest assistance including but not limited to: providing guests with property information, on property directions, providing rentals of Bicycles, Island Hoppers, and leading Segway tours
• Book and Manage reservations for Segway tours using Xola
• Book and Manage reservations for Island Hopper reservations using Bike Rental Management software
• Able to ride a Segway and become a certified instructor to lead property Segway tours within 60 days of hire
• Be familiar with Omni Amelia Island bike trail s and tour routes
• communication with associates and guests
• Knowledgeable about all hotel amenities, Omni outlets, and company events.
• Attend and participate in Amelia's Wheels' meetings and monthly All Together Get Together
• Assist with routine cleaning of Amelia's Wheels and of equipment (e.g. sweeping, emptying trash, picking up, organizing and inventory) (e.g. cleaning Segways, Island Hoppers and Bicycles)
• Ensure all bicycles, Island Hoppers, and Segways are clean, safe and act immediately with any concerns
• Knowledge of basic bike, island hopper, and Segway maintenance and repairs
• Daily maintenance of all Amelia's Wheels Bicycles, Island Hoppers and Segways
• Be knowledgeable of Omni's culture
Cross Utilization
• Assist in all other aspects of the recreation department as needed to include but not limited to: group functions, events, Nature Center, Pool/Beach, Camp Amelia, Heron’s Cove mini-golf, Health and Fitness, and Tennis operations
• Work holiday events and special programs as schedule
Hotel Specific Functions:
• Maintain standards of guest services and consistent positive guest experience as documented by J.D. Power and AAA Ratings
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotels culture, rules, and regulations
• Answer phones using the proper "Moments of Service" scenario
• Provide guests with cheerful, personable, efficient service
• Responsible for a clean and professional appearance of uniforms
• Fully understand and implement "Moments of Service" and “Power of Engagement”
• Interact with every guest using Omni Standards
• Knowledgeable about all hotel amenities and property specifics
• Actively participate in the assurance of the safety of all guests
• Treat everyone, supervisors, staff and guests with courtesy and respect always
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s licenses
• Able to lift and lift up to 60-100 pounds occasionally and 30-50 pounds repeatedly
• Able to stoop, stand, push, pull and walk or stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to hear, smell, have good or corrected vision, and a good sense of balance
• Associate must be able to verbally communicate clearly and effectively to various sized groups of resort guests
• Able to multi-task effectively
