Perform the role of server, shopkeeper, assisting the guests with their purchases, preparing the purchases of our coffee shop, Martha's Market, to Omni Hotels and Resorts standards.

Essential Functions:

• Stock shelves, counters, tables and similar display fixtures with merchandise in a fashion that maximizes product visibility and promotes sales. Make sure signage and advertising material is in clear view of the guests.
• Greet guests immediately upon entering Martha's Market and offer to assist them with any purchase.
• Prepare food and/or drink in a timely manner.
• Make sure the shop is always clean with proper displays, and ensure all items are properly tagged and maintain control of inventory.
• Insure items are priced accurately and the items are available as advertised.
• Provide suggestions, information and similar assistance to customers as requested. Maintain substantial knowledge of the various offerings in the shop.
• Accurately record sales and other transactions. Accept payment and make change as necessary following established accounting procedures.
• Completes daily sales reports.
• Multi-tasking by stocking, cleaning, preparing orders, processing orders in the computer & pleasant professional conversation with guests.
• Maintaining your bank within the standards set by Accounting.
• Completing all opening/closing cashier duties that require reports, inventories & reporting of revenues.
• Ensuring that all closing responsibilities are completed, e.g. locking area, turning off equipment and lights, etc…
• And any other reasonable task as assigned by management 

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have valid Servsafe food handler's certification, or can obtain prior to starting work
• Flexible schedule to include by not limited to weekends, evenings, mornings, and holidays
• Standing majority of the shift
• Able to lift, push, and pull 30lbs
• Prior barista experience is a plus, but not required
• The ideal candidate must have pay close attention to detail and have great customer service skills
